AKC NEWS   Canine brucellosis is a reproductive disease caused by the bacterium Brucella canis (B. canis), which can cause infertility, abortion, and severe spinal infections in dogs. The AKC Canine Health Foundation is currently funding three grants to help battle the disease. Read the full article here.

CLUB NEWS   In this article from the Yakima Herald, Adele Keyfel, Yakima Valley Kennel Club delegate, talks about the reality of the “aging sport” and how the AKC and her club are taking steps to get more youth involved in the dog world.
