The AKC is excited to announce that beginning January 2018 we are going to promote your specialty through a focused email campaign!
This email will go to owners of the specialty breed who live within 200 miles of your event, and who have previously participated in AKC conformation and companion events. The email will provide an additional reminder of your upcoming show. An additional email will be sent prior to the closing date, reminding them that entries should be made as quickly as possible.
The AKC is committed to supporting clubs and believes together we can help make shows exciting places for dog lovers! Email campaigns are just one way that the AKC is working towards growing entries. By monitoring events during the year, AKC will evaluate whether this effort is having a positive impact.
